IPAG makes cultural history in PMA show
The MSU-IIT Integrated Performing Arts Guild (IPAG) is the first cultural
group to ever perform for the Philippine Military Academy (PMA). A packed
gymnasium of officers, foreign military guests, cadets, and their families gave
the IPAG a rousing standing ovation.IPAG performed last Oct. 1 its celebrated
repertoire of Mindanao stories and dances.Visibly impressed, the PMA
Superintendent Lt. Gen.Cristolito P. Balaoing asked all cadets who originally
came from the MSU-IIT and Iligan City to come up on stage and be part of this
historic occasion of sorts. A number of these cadets were once enrolled in the
various colleges of the Institute.IPAG is currently on its 2nd leg of a national
tour in Baguio City still drawing crowds in the University of Baguio gym and
other venues in the City of Pines.
Im sure, one of those PMA'er who went up stage is my friend, 1st class CDT. Charo Española, who hails from Polomolok, South COtabato. Bring it on girl...few months from now, you will be one 2nd LT..I will pray for your success..
