Visit at Benedictine monastery

Last monday, my friend, Marites from Lanao del Norte came to visit me. Its was also planned that we would visit the Benedictine Monastery together. It was my first time to visit the place personally even though its just a few kilometers away from home.

It was early monday morning when we started our walk to the monastery. I thought it was only a few meters away from our starting point but it was kilometers away, may be 1.3 of more. The walk was enjoyed by a friendly conversation while appreciating a scenic countryside view.

Upon reaching the place, we were really filled with awe, the very quite and solemn environment as well the landscape and structure in front of us.

Entering the chapel of the monastery, the solemnity of the place invites us to meditate for awhile and pray. After that, we went outdoor to have some photographs. There was this friendly mannong who do the cleaning of the chapel. He would tell us that many marriages takes place every Saturday even to the farthest place (napaisip tuloy ako, hehehe), as far as Manila and Davao.
